About Enrico

Enrico Casini joined Pictet in July 2017 as Chief Executive Officer for Pictet Global Markets in London and Head of Fixed Income Institutional Sales. His mandate is to develop and empower Pictet’s institutional franchise, especially in foreign exchange, exploiting any cross-selling opportunities with equity products.

Enrico began his career in 1991 as a fund manager for institutional and private clients at IMI Bank (the largest Italian bank) in Luxembourg. He moved to London in 1995, where he became a fixed income salesperson for Bank of America. After a brief stint at Nationsbank London, where he began specialising in selling FX derivatives, he joined Natwest Markets in 1997 as Head of Southern Europe FX Sales. He worked through the ranks and successfully rode the transition after RBS’s takeover, covering various senior roles, the most recent being MD, Head of FX Sales Financial Institutions for EMEA. He left RBS in 2010 to join Credit Suisse, also based in London. During his time at Credit Suisse, Enrico covered various senior roles in the Macro (FICC) business, heading up the Macro (rates, FX and commodities) sales team for EMEA and Central Banks. Most recently he was Head of EMEA FX Sales, Real Money, Sovereign Wealth Funds and Central Banks.
